Author’s Note: I wrote about Dell back on April 22 when the stock traded at $214.44. However, it came up again on my screener when it made a new all-time high and traded at $567.75 on Sept. 11. I hope you were in for that $353.31 ride. Nice gain!
Valued at $367 billion, Dell Technologies (DELL) is a provider of information technology solutions.
I found today’s Chart of the Day by using Barchart’s powerful screening functions to sort for stocks with the highest technical buy signals and superior current momentum. I then used Barchart’s Flipcharts feature to review the charts for consistent price appreciation. DELL checks those boxes. The Trend Seeker issued a new “Buy” signal on Aug. 12. The stock gained 8.77% since that signal.
Editor’s Note: The technical indicators below are updated live during the session every 20 minutes and can therefore change each day as the market fluctuates. The indicator numbers shown below therefore may not match what you see live on the Barchart.com website when you read this report. These technical indicators form the Barchart Opinion on a particular stock.
Dell Technologies scored an all-time high of $567.75 on Sept. 11.
Dell is one of the most followed companies around. With lots of “Strong Buy” ratings and price targets above today’s price, it still has room to run. The short interest is only 2.16% of the float so most of the big money is not betting against it. I sure hope you got in back in April when I featured it then.
Additional disclosure: The Barchart Chart of the Day highlights stocks that are experiencing exceptional current price appreciation. They are not intended to be buy recommendations as these stocks are extremely volatile and speculate should you decide to add one of these stocks to your investment portfolio it is highly suggested you follow a predetermined diversification and moving stop loss discipline that is consistent with your personal investment risk tolerance.
