Volvo Trucks Expands Electric Truck Offering with New 80-Tonne Unit

11:47 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AB Volvo's (VOLV-A.ST, VOLV-B.ST), d/b/a Volvo Group's, unit Volvo Trucks on Monday unveiled its Volvo FH Electric/FH Aero Electric rigid truck with an expanded weight capacity of up to 80 tonnes. The zero-emission heavy hauler will be initially distributed in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Switzerland from early 2027, the Swedish truck manufacturer said Monday.
