EMV Capital Acquires Plastic Waste Chemical Recycling Plant

06:20 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EMV Capital (EMVC.L) acquired a plastic waste chemical recycling plant from Pryme NV through its newly formed wholly owned subsidiary Winalot BV, according to a Monday release. The venture capital investor said the plant located in Rotterdam, Netherlands, ceased operations in March after issues with its reactor technology. It will need 6 million pounds sterling of additional capital expenditure to restart commercial operations, which could resume within about 18 months, subject to funding and a retrofit by DeepTech Recycling. EMV Capital said the initial working capital was funded through third-party debt syndicated by its wholly owned venture capital and corporate finance firm.
