Swiss Monthly Producer, Import Prices Up 0.7% in August

02:37 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Switzerland's monthly producer and import price index climbed 0.7% in August, after a 0.1% decline in July, data from the country's Federal Statistical Office showed Monday. Analysts expected a 0.1% increase for the month. On a yearly basis, Swiss producer and import prices were 0.7% lower, against the 2.1% drop earlier.
