Lufthansa's Swiss Unit Adds Third Airbus A350 to Long-haul Fleet

11:49 PM EDT, 09/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Lufthansa (LHA.F) unit Swiss International Air Lines received its third Airbus A350-900 to add to its long-haul fleet. The aircraft will be deployed on services between Zurich and Shanghai and between Zurich and Johannesburg starting in October, according to a Sept. 12 release. Swiss International Air Lines plans to add 10 Airbus A350-900s to its fleet by 2030.
