Abu Dhabi Government Eyes Collaboration With Germany's Bayer

05:41 AM EDT, 09/13/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Abu Dhabi Investment Office and German life science company Bayer (BAYN.F) agreed to explore a partnership in health, life sciences, food security, philanthropy, and innovation ecosystems, according to a Sept. 12 release. Both sides signed the memorandum of understanding during the state visit of United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Germany. In particular, a potential collaboration may conduct field trials to understand crop performance in desert and arid conditions, target access to advanced therapies, and engage research institutions, accelerators, and technology programs in Abu Dhabi.
