IHC Unit to Buy 80% Stake in Space Company Marlan

(ADX:IHC), or IHC, subsidiary International Tech Group is working on acquiring an 80% stake in Marlan Holding, which owns the space-focused investor-operator Marlan Space. The transaction, which remains subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions, aims to expand the Abu Dhabi-listed holding company's technology portfolio into deeptech and the new space economy, according to a Tuesday release. IHC noted that Marlan Space owns a portfolio of space systems, autonomous operations and advanced computation systems, and also founded the private space infrastructure company, Orbitworks.
