EnergyPathways Taps US-based Jacobs as Engineering, Regulatory Partner

06:18 AM EDT, 09/08/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EnergyPathways (EPP.L) commissioned professional services firm Jacobs to deliver planning, regulatory, consenting, and environmental work for its planned long-duration energy storage project, Mesh. Located in the Irish Sea and Barrow-in-Furness, Mesh is poised to be the UK's largest LDES project at 300 megawatts and a duration of more than 100 hours, according to a Tuesday release. As a tier-1 engineering and regulatory partner, US-based Jacobs will also help the energy transition company apply for Ofgem's upcoming long-duration energy storage cap-and-floor round.
