Gapwaves Signs Supply Deal with China's Desay SV for Series Production of Waveguide Antennas

10:09 AM EDT, 09/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Gapwaves (GAPW-B.ST) entered into a five-year agreement with Chinese Tier-1 supplier Desay SV for series production of its waveguide antennas for automotive radars. The Swedish waveguide antenna maker said Friday the agreement has an initial value of 15.5 million kronor. The final amount will depend on volumes in the end customer's vehicle programs, as well as supply agreements between Desay SV and automakers. Production is set for the first quarter of 2027, with the antennas to be integrated into Desay SV's front and corner radar sensors for advanced driver assistance systems. The sensors will initially be supplied to an Asian automaker.
