05:13 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Sivers Semiconductors (SIVE.ST) will invest $30 million to scale up its indium phosphide manufacturing facility in Glasgow, Scotland, amid growing artificial intelligence datacenter and optical networking demand. The Stockholm-listed photonics and wireless technology company will kick-start the expansion in the second half of 2026, with the enlarged facility becoming operational in the fourth quarter of 2027, according to a Thursday release. The expansion is anticipated to take production to over 100 million continuous-wave distributed feedback lasers per year.
