Novartis, Alteogen Sign License Deal for Hybrozyme-powered Subcutaneous Products

12:03 AM EDT, 09/03/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novartis (NOVN.SW) secured multiple options for exclusive rights to develop and market subcutaneous products using Alteogen's Hybrozyme-powered ALT-B4. Under the option and license agreement, the Swiss drugmaker will pay up to $3.22 billion to Alteogen if all options are exercised and all milestones are achieved, according to a Wednesday release. The maximum consideration includes royalties to the South Korean biopharmaceutical company on net sales of the Hybrozyme-enabled products.
