Deutsche Telekom CFO to Leave in 2027; Successor Named

07:22 AM EDT, 09/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Deutsche Telekom (DTE.F) Chief Financial Officer Christian Illek plans to step down after the company's 2027 annual general meeting due to age-related reasons. The German telecoms company on Wednesday named Dhananjay Mirchandani as the successor to Illek, effective May 1, 2027. Mirchandani joined the company in 2019 and has been head of group controlling since 2024. Deutsche Telekom also appointed Mladen Mitic as its new chief product & digital officer, effective Oct. 1. Mitic will succeed Jonathan Abrahamson, who is leaving the company at his own request. Mitic currently serves as senior vice president of B2C Commercial Growth in Deutsche Telekom's Europe segment.
