(HMI.L) completed its acquisition of Scanty Mineração, which holds a portfolio of ionic adsorption clay rare earth element projects in Brazil. The acquisition brings eight multi-stage rare earth element projects across four Brazilian states, targeting ionic adsorption clay mineralization, to the London-listed fertilizer producer and mineral development company, according to a Tuesday filing. Under the binding agreement announced on July 21, the company settled the transaction through a combination of cash, shares, and milestone-related consideration.
