01:02 AM EDT, 09/01/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Agility Public Warehousing (DFM:AGLTY), d/b/a Makhazen, and its management were penalized for failure to meet the Capital Market Authority's disclosure requirements and accounting standards, according to a Tuesday release. The logistics company, chief executive officer, chief financial officer, and vice chairman were each fined 10,000 Kuwaiti dinars, while each accountable board member was fined 5,000 dinars. The financial watchdog imposed the penalty after Makhazen reclassified its 111 million-dinar investment in Korek Telecom to receivables without determining the timing and the investment's final recovery value. The reclassified amount should therefore not be recognized in the financial statements, the authority said. Additionally, the company booked real estate worth 65.8 million dinars as "investment properties" even after transferring it to the Public Authority of Industry.
