Synopsys Posts Upbeat Q3 Results, Joins Okta, Veeva Systems, Crowdstrike And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Thursday

U.S. stocks were mostly higher, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 1% on Thursday.

Shares of Synopsys Inc (NASDAQ:SNPS) rose sharply as the company reported strong third-quarter results and raised outlook.

Synopsys reported quarterly earnings of $3.91 per share, which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $3.67 by 6.54%, according to Benzinga Pro data. Quarterly revenue of $2.48 billion beat the Street estimate of $2.44 billion and was up from $1.74 billion in the same period last year.

Synopsys shares jumped 8.5% to $445.06 on Thursday.

• Salesforce Inc (NYSE:CRM) gained 18.8% to $244.79 as the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and raised its FY27 guidance.
• Ooma Inc (NYSE:OOMA) gained 18.6% to $24.36 following strong quarterly results.
• Crowdstrike Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:CRWD) shares jumped 17.2% to $221.64 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results and issued third-quarter sales guidance above estimates.
• Sailpoint Inc (NASDAQ:SAIL) gained 15.5% to $21.04.
• Hyperliquid Strategies Inc (NASDAQ:PURR) jumped 13.3% to $13.10.
• Tenable Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:TENB) gained 11.2% to $37.44. Tenable Holdings will replace Leggett & Platt Inc. (NYSE:LEG) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the opening of trading on Monday, Aug. 31.
• Palo Alto Networks Inc (NASDAQ:PANW) gained 11.2% to $377.36 as strong peer earnings fueled a broader cybersecurity rally.
• Zscaler Inc (NASDAQ:ZS) rose 10.9% to $188.89.
• Netskope Inc (NASDAQ:NTSK) gained 10.5% to $15.38.
• Figma Inc (NYSE:FIG) rose 10.3% to $29.82.
• ServiceNow Inc (NYSE:NOW) shares jumped 10% to $138.41 following a blockbuster second-quarter earnings report from enterprise software giant Salesforce Inc.
