01:07 AM EDT, 08/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lytix Biopharma (LYTIX.OL) agreed to participate in an investigator-initiated phase 2 trial of a combination formulation to treat early-stage resectable melanoma. The clinical-stage immuno-oncology company will team up with the Netherlands Cancer Institute, European Institute of Oncology, and eight Dutch and Italian melanoma expert centers in the multi-arm Aletta study, which will assess ruxotemitide with ipilimumab plus nivolumab and pembrolizumab in patients with resectable stage 3 melanoma, according to a Wednesday release. The study is expected to involve more than 260 patients, with enrollment for the ipilimumab/nivolumab plus ruxotemitide comparison expected to start in early 2027.
