Jubilee Metals Group to Sell Large Waste Project in Zambia for $35 Million

03:07 AM EDT, 08/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Jubilee Metals Group (JLP.L, JBL.JO) said Wednesday that it picked a preferred purchaser for the sale of its Large Waste project in Zambia for total consideration of $35 million. The transaction is subject to a two-stage due diligence process, expected to take about 10 days. Subject to its completion, the purchaser will pay $2.3 million to secure a further 45-day exclusivity period during which it will complete its remaining due diligence The integrated copper producer and resource developer noted that the remaining balance will be paid in installments that span three years. It added that the buyer has the option to advance the settlement, which will reduce the total consideration to $30 million.
