Amwaj International Board Withdraws Capital Increase Plan

(SASE:9537) board withdrew plans to increase the company's capital after concluding that the balance of the retained earnings would not be enough to support the program, according to a Monday filing. The electronic and electrical appliances wholesaler's board recommended in March 2025 to boost the capital to 80 million Saudi riyals from 60 million riyals by granting bonus shares to shareholders. The plan was to be implemented through the capitalization of 20 million riyals from retained earnings.
