02:22 AM EDT, 08/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- A district court in Israel upheld an arbitration decision requiring SHL Telemedicine (SHLTN.SW) to pay the full consideration of 31.1 million Israeli shekels to acquire the remaining 30% stake in its subsidiaries, Mediton Medical Centers Chain and Medishur, from minority shareholders. The telemedicine services group said Monday that, while it plans to comply with the judgment and seek to close the acquisition as soon as possible, its legal counsel believes "the judgment contains certain legal and factual errors." As such, the company intends to file an appeal with the Supreme Court of Israel. The district court, however, ruled that the company's claims and set-off arguments were reserved and could be pursued in separate proceedings, which the company plans to do.
