UK to Apply Provisional Anti-dumping Duty on Chinese Boom Lift Imports

09:11 AM EDT, 08/19/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK government said Wednesday it will impose a provisional anti-dumping measure on boom lifts imported from China, effective Thursday. The provisional measure carries an anti-dumping duty ranging from 16.25% to 71.74% for up to six months, or until a definitive remedy is in place. The move follows a recommendation from the UK's Trade Remedies Authority, which launched an investigation after Milton Keynes, England-based boom lift maker Niftylift filed an application.
