Cenergy's Cables Segment Wins EUR1.5 Billion Contract for Electrical Interconnection in Greece

12:48 AM EDT, 08/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Cenergy's (CENER.BR) cables segment secured the 1.5 billion-euro electrical interconnection contract from the Independent Power Transmission Operator in Greece, the Belgian industrial holding company said Thursday. Hellenic Cables, through its subsidiary Fulgor, will provide engineering, procurement, construction and installation services for the 320-kilovolt high-voltage direct current electrical interconnection between Corinth and Kos island. The project is expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026, with completion scheduled for 2030.
