InterContinental Hotels Group Logs Lower H1 Profit; Total Revenue Rises

02:25 AM EDT, 08/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG.L) said Tuesday that its attributable profit for the first half decreased, while total revenue increased year over year. Profit attributable to equity holders of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was $425 million, compared with $469 million earlier. EPS moved to $2.813 from $2.972. The hospitality company's total revenue was $2.66 billion, compared with $2.52 billion a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of $0.645 per share for the period, payable Oct. 1 to shareholders on record Aug. 21. It paid $0.586 per share in the year-ago period. Chief Executive Officer Elie Maalouf said the group remains on track to reach its consensus profit and earnings expectations for full-year 2026.
