Boeing to Take Nearly 20% Stake in Archer Aviation as Archer Acquires Wisk, SkyGrid and Insitu

Archer Aviation ($ACHR) agreed to acquire Boeing's Wisk Aero, SkyGrid and Insitu businesses in a transaction that will give Boeing ($BA) a nearly 20% stake in Archer. The deal combines Archer's eVTOL platform with autonomous-flight, air-traffic-management and military drone technologies while Boeing retains access to Wisk's core autonomy technology.

• Boeing will receive Archer shares and warrants, with the transaction expected to close by the end of 2026.
• Boeing will be entitled to nominate one director to Archer's board.
• Wisk has completed more than 1,700 flight tests across six generations of eVTOL aircraft.
