Magnora Data Center, Blix Group form JV for Norwegian AI Data Center

01:56 AM EDT, 08/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Magnora Data Center (MDATA.OL) said Monday it agreed to form an equally owned joint venture with Blix Group to develop an artificial intelligence and edge data center in Oslo, Norway. The Norwegian data center project developer acquired a commercial section in the former Norwegian Payment Clearing House facility and will establish a wholly owned operating company to build and operate the data center. The site has an initial power capacity of 1 megawatt, with potential to expand to as much as 9 MW. An application for additional power was already submitted to the local grid operator.
