Spanish Private Sector Growth Hits 19-month High in July

03:24 AM EDT, 08/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Spain's private sector activity continued to expand in July 2026, reflecting the "best growth" in service sector output since March 2023 despite a marginal decline in manufacturing production. The S&P Global Spain Composite PMI Output Index rose to a 19-month high of 56.5 from 53.3 in June, S&P Global said Wednesday. For the service sector, the PMI came in at 58.3, against the previous 54.2 and the consensus estimate of 54.9.
