United Cooperative Assurance's H1 Loss Narrows, Revenue Drops

01:35 AM EDT, 08/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- United Cooperative Assurance Co. (SASE:8190) said Wednesday its net loss in the first half narrowed, while insurance revenue plunged year over year. Net loss, after zakat, attributable to shareholders for the six months ended June 30 was 7.7 million Saudi riyals, compared with 104.9 million riyals. Loss per share moved to 0.19 riyal from 2.62 riyals. The company's insurance revenue was 189 million riyals, compared with 430.4 million riyals a year ago.
