Swiss Overnight Hotel Stays Down 2.2% in June, Flash Data Shows

04:39 AM EDT, 08/04/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hotels in Switzerland recorded a 2.2% year-over-year decline in overnight stays for June, according to a flash estimate published by the Federal Statistical Office on Tuesday. Hotel bookings by Swiss nationals edged up 0.4% on an annual basis, while bookings from foreigners fell 4.4%. From January to June, hotels reported a 0.7% annual decrease in overnight stays.
