Hammerson Raises GBP189 Million from New Shares Offering

01:19 AM EDT, 07/31/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hammerson (HMSO.L, HMN.JO) on Thursday priced its offering of 53,163,160 new ordinary shares at 3.55 pounds sterling apiece. Chief Executive Officer Rob Wilkinson said the British real estate company raised 189 million pounds in total from the offering to support its acquisition of a 50% stake in Manchester Arndale shopping center in the UK. The offering comprised the placement of 52,098,942 new ordinary shares, a concurrent retail offering via RetailBook, and a subscription totaling 230,000 pounds from certain directors of the company.
