German Quarterly GDP Up 0.2% in Q2, Flash Data Shows

04:10 AM EDT, 07/30/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's quarterly gross domestic product rose 0.2% in the second quarter, after a revised 0.4% gain in the prior three-month period, provisional data from the Federal Statistical Office showed Thursday. The consensus estimate for the month was a 0.1% uptick. On a yearly basis, the German economy expanded by 0.9% during the quarter, against the expected 0.6% growth.
