Smiths Group Upsizes Second Tranche of Share Buyback Program

11:16 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Smiths Group (SMIN.L) said Tuesday it increased the maximum aggregate consideration under the second tranche of its share buyback program to 700 million pounds sterling from 400 million pounds. The industrial engineering company has purchased 3.3 million ordinary shares under the second tranche, expected to be completed by year-end, for a total of 84 million pounds.
