Hamlet BioPharma Secures Patent Approvals for Cancer, Bladder Pain Therapies

08:32 AM EDT, 07/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Hamlet BioPharma (HAMLET-B.ST) said Tuesday it expanded its intellectual property portfolio after securing additional patents and allowances in the US and Japan. The new patents cover the production of the Swedish pharmaceutical company's Alpha1H therapy, which destroys cancer cells and stops tumor growth, as well as its Interleukin-1-related technology for bladder pain treatment. Hamlet added that it now owns over 150 active patents and more than 30 pending patent applications worldwide.
