TBC Bank Group Closes Purchase of Majority Stake in OLX Uzbekistan

11:11 AM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- TBC Bank Group (TBCG.L) completed its acquisition of a majority stake in online classifieds platform OLX Uzbekistan after securing approval from Uzbekistan's Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights. The Georgia-based financial services group acquired the stake through a newly formed joint venture with Titan Investments, which purchased OLX Uzbekistan from Prosus' (PRX.AS, PRX.JO) OLX Group, according to a Friday filing. TBC owns 50% plus 1 share of the joint venture, with Titan holding the remaining stake. OLX Uzbekistan will continue to operate as a standalone, open classifieds platform under the OLX brand.
