Valmet Explores Separation, Listing of Two Core Businesses

The Finnish process technology company aims to determine whether the separate listing of its Biomaterial Solutions and Services and Process Performance Solutions businesses on Nasdaq Helsinki will generate additional value for its shareholders, compared with its current structure. The company added that it will also consider the potential impacts of the plan on transparency, governance, and capital markets appeal.
