Siemens Signs Partnership Deal with HD Hyundai on US Shipyard Modernization

12:15 AM EDT, 07/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Siemens (SIE.F) said Thursday it entered into a nine-figure partnership agreement to assist with the modernization and digitalization of South Korean industrial group HD Hyundai's US shipyard. The long-term collaboration covers the use of the German technology group's Siemens Xcelerator business platform across HD Hyundai's shipbuilding operations. The companies are also planning to jointly develop and commercialize scalable digital shipyard solutions that will support further expansion in the US. Furthermore, they committed to supporting the launch of a US-Korea Shipbuilding Technology Cooperation Center in Washington, DC.
