Norwegian Regulator OKs Brødrene A & O Johansen's Voluntary Takeover Offer for Elektroimportøren

12:09 PM EDT, 07/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Norwegian Competition Authority approved Brødrene A & O Johansen's (AOJ-B.CO) recommended voluntary cash offer for electrical equipment retailer Elektroimportøren (ELIMP.OL). Danish technical installation materials supplier Brødrene announced the voluntary cash offer on July 3, with the offer period set to expire on Aug. 5, according to a Wednesday release. As a result, no outstanding regulatory approvals remain. Deal closing is, however, still subject to other remaining conditions.
