Arabian Cement Co. Unit Changes Terms of Share Swap Deal in Jordan

(SASE:3010) said Wednesday its subsidiary Arabian Cement Bahrain Holding Co. changed the structure of a share swap agreement involving a construction-supplies company in Jordan. The cement company's unit will sell 7.3 million shares in Jordan-based Ready Mix Concrete and Construction Supplies Co. to Al Hejaz Co. for Cement for a total of 9.5 million Jordanian dinars. Separately, Arabian Cement Bahrain will buy 6,245,246 shares in Qatrana Cement Co. from Ready Mix Concrete for a total of 6.2 million dinars. The subsidiary will also execute a direct share swap to exchange its remaining 1,851,666 shares in Ready Mix Concrete for Al Rawsha co. for trading and investment's 2,272,727 shares in Qatrana Cement.
