Mistral Brings AI Models to Microsoft Platforms in Expanded Partnership

09:43 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- French artificial intelligence startup Mistral will bring its AI models to Microsoft (MSF.F)'s suite of platforms as part of an expanded partnership between the two technology companies. Mistral's models will be deployed to Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio and Azure, among others, according to a Tuesday release. The partnership will also be backed by a new multibillion-dollar agreement to boost AI infrastructure in Europe, including an expansion of Mistral's GPU capacity.
