SinterCast Technology to Support North American Commercial Vehicle Engine Platform

06:49 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- SinterCast's (SINT.ST) Mexico-based licensee Ironcast de Frontera won a contract to deliver compacted graphite iron cylinder blocks for an upcoming 13-liter commercial vehicle engine platform in North America. Ironcast purchased the SinterCast desulfurization solution in preparation for the project, with installation targeted in the third quarter of 2026, according to a Tuesday release. Series production of the cylinder blocks is expected to start in late 2026. The process control technology company noted that the engine program is expected to increase its production at mature volumes by 13%.
