UK Export Finance, GE Aerospace Sign GBP750 Million Engine Maintenance Financing Deal

06:07 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- UK Export Finance signed a 750 million-pound-sterling financing framework with General Electric (GEC.L, GNE.PA, GE.SW), d/b/a GE Aerospace, to support airline engine maintenance at the aerospace company's facilities in Wales and Scotland. Under the five-year agreement, qualifying airlines can seek UKEF-backed financing for engine overhauls and repairs carried out at the two UK sites. The framework is designed to provide customers with faster access to multi-year financing while supporting regional jobs and aerospace supply chains.
