Capital Gearing Trust Share Split to Take Effect July 23

05:58 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Capital Gearing Trust's (CGT.L) 10-for-1 share split is expected to take effect on Thursday, with trading of the new shares under the same ticker on the London bourse to take place the same day. Following the share split, the investment trust's new share capital will comprise 265,802,630 shares, with a total of 156,442,080 voting rights, according to a Tuesday filing. The company's shareholders earlier in July approved the sub-division of its shares of 0.25 pound sterling each into 10 new shares of 0.025 pound apiece.
