Bachem to Invest CHF500 Million to Boost Peptide Production in Switzerland

01:32 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Bachem (BANB.SW) plans to invest over 500 million francs in a large-scale peptide production facility in Sisslerfeld, Eiken, Switzerland, under a strategic collaboration. The Swiss peptides and oligonucleotides manufacturing company said Tuesday the investment will follow an agreement to supply large volumes of peptides. Commercial production at the new site is expected to start in 2030.
