01:13 AM EDT, 07/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe updated its price target and earnings forecasts for Compagnie Financière Richemont (CFR.SW, CFR.JO), highlighting the Swiss luxury goods group's position in the international luxury jewelry segment. "As we have repeatedly highlighted, despite the highly volatile macroeconomic and geopolitical environment, [jewelry] has continued to demonstrate the greatest resilience among all luxury categories. We therefore believe Richemont remains the best proxy for luxury [jewelry], underpinned by the [unrivaled] brand equity of Cartier and [Van Cleef & Arpels]. Accordingly, we have applied a 50% premium to peer valuation multiples to better reflect the group's undisputed leadership in the global luxury [jewelry] market," according to a Monday note. As such, the research firm raised its price target for the reduce-rated stock by 12.8% to 191 francs. On the earnings side, analysts boosted their top-line forecasts after integrating Richemont's fiscal 2026 figures, noting the Jewellery Maisons sustained "outperformance." Conversely, AlphaValue/Baader Europe adopted a "more cautious" stance on the group's margin recovery trajectory amid rising gold prices and foreign-exchange volatility, with margins projected to exceed the fiscal 2024 level by fiscal 2029. The research firm also trimmed its fiscal 2027 EPS estimate by 0.86% to 8.34 euros.
