Airbus Secures Orders for 55 Jets From Air China, Shenzhen Airlines

06:59 AM EDT, 07/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) signed purchase agreements with Air China for 15 A350-900 airplanes and with its Shenzhen Airlines subsidiary for another 40 A320neo series jets. The aircraft have a total list price of $12.44 billion, but were purchased at a substantial discount, according to a Friday release. The French aircraft manufacturer expects to deliver the airplanes in batches between 2029 and 2032.
