Valmet Wins Distributed Control System Order for Finnish Biogas Plant

03:23 AM EDT, 07/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Valmet (VALMT.HE) secured a contract to deliver its Valmet DNAe Distributed Control System to Finland, according to a Thursday release. Biogas services company Suomen Biovoima, which made the order, will use the automation system to boost the operations of a carbon dioxide liquefaction facility at an Auris Energia-owned biogas plant in Mäntsälä, Finland. Financial details of the contract were not disclosed. The Finnish process technology company will deliver the system in November 2026, with installation to follow in December 2026. Valmet added that system operations are expected to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
