Nordea Bank's H1 Net Profit Declines; Operating Income Up

12:54 AM EDT, 07/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nordea Bank (NDA-FI.HE, NDA-SE.ST, NDA-DK.CO) said Thursday that its net profit for the first half fell, while total operating income rose year over year. Net profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ended June 30 was 2.33 billion euros, compared with 2.43 billion euros a year ago. EPS moved to 0.68 euro from 0.70 euro. The Nordic lender's total operating income was 5.94 billion euros, compared with 5.89 billion euros earlier. Meanwhile, the board resolved to distribute a mid-term dividend of 0.34 euro per share, payable Aug. 13 to shareholders on record Aug. 6.
