Wärtsilä Lands 10-year Maintenance Deal for US Power Plant

09:50 AM EDT, 07/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wärtsilä (WRT1V.HE) secured a 10-year optimized maintenance agreement with Midwest Energy for the 104-megawatt Goodman Energy Center power plant in Ellis County in Kansas, US, according to a Tuesday release. The marine and energy technology group will provide field services, spare parts, remote support, control system patching, and maintenance planning assistance for the plant, which operates on Wärtsilä 34SG engines. It will also deploy its Expert Insight digital predictive maintenance product.
