Sweden's Midsummer Receives SEK10 Million Installment for Italy's R&D Program

02:49 AM EDT, 07/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Midsummer AB (MIDS.ST) received the first installment of 10 million kronor for a research and development program awarded to its Italian subsidiary by the Italian investment authority Invitalia. The Swedish solar energy company secured a 50 million-krona grant for the research and development of next-generation thin film solar cells using Midsummer DUO R&D machines, according to a Tuesday release. The grant will be paid in installments through the end of 2027.
