Italian Insurer Generali Offers EUR650 Million Bond

11:42 PM EST, 01/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Assicurazioni Generali (G.MI) offered a Tier 2 bond with a principal amount of 650 million euros under its 15 billion-euro medium-term note program, according to a Wednesday filing. The bond is subject to an annual coupon rate of 4.126% and will mature on Jan. 14, 2036. It will be issued at a price equal to the principal amount, with settlement expected by Jan. 14, 2026. The Italian insurer said the offering was oversubscribed, with orders reaching 2.6 billion euros during the book-building. Morgan Stanley is the global coordinator of the offering. It also serves as joint lead manager alongside Barclays, Citi, Credit Agricole CIB, ING, and Mediobanca.
