Eurozone Final PMI Hits Three-month Low in December 2025

04:16 AM EST, 01/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The euro area's private sector growth lost momentum in December 2025, logging a softer expansion amid a slower rise in goods and services demand, according to final data from Hamburg Commercial Bank and S&P Global published Tuesday. The HCOB Eurozone Composite PMI Output Index declined to a three-month low of 51.5, compared with the previous month's 52.8 and the flash estimate of 51.9. Meanwhile, the services PMI came in at 52.4, against the prior 53.6 and the initial reading of 52.6.
