02:10 AM EST, 01/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- AlphaValue/Baader Europe said Monday it changed its price target for Crédit Agricole (ACA.PA) to 23.5 euros from 23 euros, with an add rating, to reflect the bank's new 2028 targets and the research firm's updated macroeconomic view. Analysts also revised their forecasts for the French lender, with the 2025 EPS estimate lifted by 7.62% to 2.44 euros, expecting higher revenue and lower loan loss provisions after its third-quarter results. On the other hand, the 2026 projection was cut by 8.91% to 2.30 euros on the projected revenue and loan loss impact of a "tight" macro environment. Meanwhile, analysts raised their 2027 forecasts, expecting lower cost projections and higher equity associates contribution. Dividend projections for 2026 and 2027 were also upgraded. "Although we deemed CASA's new strategic plan as ambitious, note that our projections thus far, remain more conservative than management's view, with a projected revenue [compound annual growth rate] at 2.5% vs 3.5% guided, while the rest of our projections appear in-line with the new guidance," AlphaValue/Baader Europe wrote.
